The designs of human passion reflect life

Bring out their love for poor soul

That search for eternal nullity.

With each passing moment

Reflections of our future

Shows the gaping enormity

Of situations that are beyond control.

They come and go

To find security of life

Gives magnanimity to mind’s compassion,

That has love lost within own.

Similarity I find with myself

amidst the tussle to not be, yet be

Kindness of heart marrying passion of mind

The eye for togetherness yet longing.

This heart desires and mind recollects

The last time that we met

Things were not calm – it was sad, you were there,

Touched this soul and left for good!
