There were nights that got bigger
As the orchestra opened its arms
And read out its verses for all confirming
the musicians opting for different paths
does not agree that people are grateful
For they can’t find where they went wrong.
The organs pulling music from their gut
Whispering their choices as if it is their life
That holds them painfully close to the heart
But does not care if people are grateful
For they can’t find where they have gone wrong.
They may favor a player or two
But the music is present in all
Next time it may not be their turn
They might end up burning like a moth
It doesn’t matter if people are grateful
For they cannot find where they are wrong.
All the efforts that are regularly made
For an audience that has genuinely stayed
Pushes hush and bump in the silence
Are worth the desired notes being played though,
musicians do not care if the audience is grateful
For, many cannot find where they have gone wrong.
It is almost as if a theatre in rythm
swinging its arms to prove to its hosts
conversing with their lyrics and notes
making them not care if the audience is grateful
For, many cannot even find where they go wrong.
The mood changes so do emotions in the brain
Running high on the horse of vocals
Just as blood flow from young genius veins
defying their age with rythm of confidence
As they do not care if anyone is grateful
For many cannot find where they did go wrong!
